Overview

This document will describe how users will be able to use Single Sign On (SSO) functionality to access Unitu through their university login credentials enabled on Microsoft Office 365.

Benefits of SSO

Convenience for the students

Making the platform readily available by allowing users to have the same account credentials for both their university account and Unitu account will, we believe, vastly improve user experience and hence the engagement on the platform.

Method

• Navigate to https://sso.unitu.co.uk/
• Click on “Sign in using your university account”
• This will take you to the Office 365 login screen and will authenticate you based on your username and password that you provide
• If the authentication succeeds, you will be redirected back to Unitu and will be logged in

Common Error Troubleshooting

User not found

Please make sure that the email that you signed in with is the email that is registered with your account on Unitu.
